Architectural Material 1,2,3 by DAMDI

We were interviewed about material. These have now appeared in the following collection by DAMDI: The most basic in architecture construction is “material”. Through examples from all over the world, DAMDI aims to show the various uses of brick, tile, wood, and glass, the most commonly used materials in modern architecture. The book explores the philosophy and theory of the materials of architects around the world through interviews and visually expands the content of the interviews through examples of their own designs. These contents are helpful for thinking deeply about architectural materials as providing(suggesting) what they put emphasis on, what they were inspired by to choose those materials, and what was difficult about using the material.
